Global Blue has been a leader in the Tax Free Shopping industry for over 40 years, continuously innovating and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward.

**About the Role**

The Strategic Project Manager will be responsible for the timely implementation and delivery of assigned projects and/or processes, including analyzing business cases, project planning, coordination with internal/external stakeholders, reporting, and handover to the business. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Accountable for the delivery of assigned projects and/or taking corrective actions when results materially deviate from expectations.
  • Undertake necessary business initiatives and work out decisions needed to achieve assigned objectives, to catch opportunities, to minimize risk exposure, to improve the quality of the team organization.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of one-time projects and/or process changes within the business-as-usual organization to ensure smooth processing and reporting.
  • Support the setup of financial business cases with analysis of data, research of information internal and external.
  • Set up project organization including governance, reporting, and necessary templates.
  • Work with all departments (Commercial, MS, Finance, and Operations) to get support, define priorities, coordinate activities, and to get relevant information for business management.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, analyze, and log information.
  • Create insightful dashboards and reporting tools for the country teams to expand and optimize their KPIs.
  • Establish regularly policies, procedures, and training material, support yearly review of regulations, and secure up-to-date material.

**Main KPIs**

  • Develop and implementation of business cases, new products, and services.
  • Refund quality (e.g., Issue- and Refund ratios).
  • P&L, budget, and costs.

**Competencies**

  • Organized and structured.
  • Strong capacities to lead and coordinate projects with internal (up to Senior Management level) and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Strong communication skills, especially within a multicultural global organization.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.

**Skills**

  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills (verbal and written).
  • French is a plus.
  • Good presentation and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Microstrategy and SalesForce would be an advantage.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

  • Ideally master's degree in economics, project management.
  • Previous experience in Operations or Finance organizations would be a plus.
  • Experience of working in an international company or organization is useful.
  • 5 to 10 years' experience in Project Management in an international environment.
