Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QESH Specialist to join our team at CheckMark Labrecruitment. As a QESH Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within our innovative Biotech Science laboratories.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an advisor, coach, and trainer for line managers in their daily activities, promoting a secure, healthy, and incident-free workplace.
  • Coach and train laboratory employees on the application of QESH, including practical measures for the experimental setup and workplace ergonomics.
  • Build, maintain, manage, and improve the QESH Management System.
  • Guide and support compliance to new and existing Q and SHE legislations, requirements, and standards, including gap assessments.
  • Organize and execute audits and management reviews.
  • Lead SHE Risk Assessments in labs and offices, including assessments on Job Safety, Health Risks, and Machine Safety.
  • Lead and report Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) to determine the causes of QESH incidents and gather effective solutions.

Requirements
  • HBO or MSc degree in Life Science or Biotechnology.
  • Strong experience working in a R&D and/or Laboratory environment.
  • Relevant QESH, Quality Management, and/or SHE experience in an industrial laboratory organization.
  • A degree in Safety Engineering (HVK, MVK) is considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in dedicated software and digital tools is a prerequisite.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
  • Flexible, result-oriented mindset, and can-do mentality.

What We Offer
  • A contract for 12 months at CheckMark.
  • Salary indication from €4500,- to €6300,- gross per month based on a full-time position.
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week).
  • Day shift.
