We are looking for a Data Lineage Specialist to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data lineage, data security, and data governance. They will be responsible for advising business stakeholders on how data lineage can bring value to their work, identifying potential improvements and gaps in existing products and processes, and translating strategic vision into functional implementation.

About the Role

As a Data Lineage Specialist, you will play a key role in enabling our organization to make informed decisions by providing clear visibility into data origins, movement, characteristics, and transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Align with business stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on how data lineage can bring value to their work;
  • Identify potential improvements and gaps in existing products and processes;
  • Translate strategic vision into functional implementation;
  • Contribute to the drafting and maintenance of guidelines and data standards;
  • Create awareness and involvement within the organization through learning materials and communication;
  • Care for priority, cooperation, knowledge sharing, and process building within the Data Distribution area.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Master's degree or similar and at least 3 years of experience in data lineage, data security, consulting, stakeholder management, and communication. You should also have a strong understanding of data management and data integration, as well as the ability to bridge the world of business and IT.
