Role Overview:
We are in search of a highly proficient Senior OutSystems Developer to spearhead the design and implementation of resilient solutions on the OutSystems platform. This position encompasses advanced development tasks, guiding junior developers, and collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams to produce high-caliber applications that align with our clients' requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Application Design and Development: Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications utilizing the OutSystems platform. Ensure that applications are scalable, maintainable, and fulfill business needs.
Technical Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of developers. Offer guidance and support in best practices, conduct code reviews, and engage in advanced problem-solving.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Performance Optimization: Enhance application performance through effective database schema design and efficient coding practices. Ensure applications perform optimally under varying load conditions.
Integration: Develop APIs and facilitate integration with external systems and databases, ensuring seamless and secure data flow between applications and services.
Quality Assurance: Work alongside the QA team to establish testing strategies. Ensure that all development tasks meet quality standards through comprehensive testing, including functional, performance, and security assessments.
Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in OutSystems and related technologies. Assess new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and final products.
Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Required Experience: Over 5 years of experience in OutSystems development, with substantial experience in leading development initiatives.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of the OutSystems platform.
Strong background in web and mobile application development.
Proficient in SQL and database architecture.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication skills, capable of managing stakeholders and mentoring developers.
Proactive, self-driven, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Language Proficiency
Fluent in English. Proficiency in any other European language is considered an advantage (Dutch/French).
