About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior OutSystems Developer to lead the design and development of robust solutions on the OutSystems platform. This role involves advanced development activities, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality applications using the OutSystems platform, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and meet business requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support in best practices, code reviews, and advanced problem-solving.
- Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion, working with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Optimize application performance through effective database schema design and efficient coding, ensuring applications perform well under various load conditions.
- Develop APIs and integrate with external systems and databases, ensuring smooth and secure data flow between applications and services.
- Collaborate with the QA team to define testing strategies, ensuring that all development tasks meet quality criteria through testing, including functional, performance, and security tests.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in OutSystems and related technologies, evaluating new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and end products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in OutSystems development, including significant experience in leading development projects.
- Expert knowledge of the OutSystems platform, strong background in web and mobile application development, proficient in SQL and database design, and familiar with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication skills, capable of managing stakeholders and mentoring developers, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, any other European language will be considered an advantage (Dutch/French).
