Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly proficient Senior OutSystems Developer to spearhead the design and implementation of robust solutions utilizing the OutSystems platform. This position encompasses advanced development tasks, mentorship of junior developers, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch applications that align with our clients' objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Design and Development: Architect, develop, and deploy high-quality applications on the OutSystems platform. Ensure that applications are scalable, maintainable, and fulfill business requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of developers. Offer insights and support in best practices, code evaluations, and complex problem resolution.
  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Performance Enhancement: Improve application performance through effective database schema design and efficient coding practices. Ensure optimal application performance under varying load conditions.
  • Integration Development: Create APIs and integrate with external systems and databases, ensuring seamless and secure data flow between applications and services.
  • Quality Assurance: Work alongside the QA team to establish testing strategies. Ensure that all development tasks meet quality standards through comprehensive testing, including functional, performance, and security assessments.
  • Innovation and Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in OutSystems and related technologies. Assess new tools and technologies to enhance the development process and final products.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of experience in OutSystems development, with substantial experience in leading development initiatives.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of the OutSystems platform.
  • Strong foundation in web and mobile application development.
  • Proficient in SQL and database architecture.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at managing stakeholders and mentoring developers.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in any additional European language (such as Dutch or French) will be considered an asset.
