We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team in the Netherlands, providing expert contractual support to our project management teams on international marine infrastructure projects.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately €120,000 - €150,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including career development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects. As a Senior Contract Manager, you will provide expert contractual support to our project management teams, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and risks are managed effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing contractual and commercial support during the preparation and execution of projects;
- Developing and implementing effective project administration systems;
- Reviewing documents related to projects, such as joint venture agreements and main contracts;
- Drafting and reviewing letters, variation orders, and claims;
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery;
- Increasing contractual awareness within the project team and supporting the development of expertise within the legal & contract management department.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in law or quantity surveying, with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of international construction contracts, such as FIDIC/LOGIC contracts;
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal;
- A proactive and accurate approach, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
