We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Rights Counsel to join our Ethics & Business Integrity team at ASML. As a key player in the semiconductor industry, we are committed to respecting and protecting human rights in our operations and value chain.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Human Rights program for ASML, in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
- Maintain the Human Rights policy in alignment with other relevant policies.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments on Human Rights and identify links to the broader ESG landscape.
- Ensure execution of a periodic human rights risk assessment/saliency assessment across the organization.
- Plan and carry out periodic external stakeholder engagements.
- Work on continuous improvement of existing Human Rights due diligence processes.
- Perform due diligence and/or review due diligence outcomes in specific cases.
- Set up monitoring and reporting processes.
- Participate in investigations concerning alleged negative Human Rights impacts and oversee remediation actions.
- Provide input on Human Rights topics for non-financial reporting purposes.
- Ensure appropriate vetting and response to queries and audits by external stakeholders.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of human rights for business.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Law, Human Rights, or other relevant field.
- Excellent English language skills, both orally and in writing.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
