Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator to join our team at the International Criminal Court. The successful candidate will have a high-level proficiency in English and Modern Hebrew, with the ability to translate a wide range of topics, including legal, military, medical, forensic, human rights, administrative, and financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate self-reviewed translations covering a wide range of topics, including legal, military, medical, forensic, human rights, administrative, and financial matters.
  • Consult with the LSU Translation Team to clarify ambiguities, assist in building glossaries, and provide feedback.
  • Apply the feedback provided by the LSU Translation Team to ensure delivery of a quality product.

Requirements

  • High-level proficiency in English and Modern Hebrew.
  • Experience in translation or any other language-related profession, ideally in a legal or human rights setting.
  • Strong IT skills, including with CAT tools.
  • Excellent eye for detail, accuracy, style, and usage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
