The International Criminal Court (ICC) seeks a skilled Freelance Translator to support its mission in upholding global justice. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of translated documents.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced translator with a strong background in legal and human rights terminology. Your expertise will enable us to effectively communicate with stakeholders worldwide, facilitating the delivery of justice in the most critical cases.

Responsibilities
  • Translate various documents, including legal texts, witness statements, and other materials related to international criminal law.
  • Collaborate with our Translation Team to ensure consistency and accuracy in translation processes.
  • Apply your knowledge of language nuances to produce high-quality translations that meet the ICC's standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A high-level proficiency in English and Modern Hebrew, with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Experience working with CAT tools and word-processing software.
  • Familiarity with the ICC's mandate, operations, and core competencies.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
