Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Specialist to join our team at Arrow Electronics. As a Sales Development Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities with our reseller partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Arrow Account Managers and Account Directors to identify key reseller partners with strong potential for sales growth.
  • Develop and execute business plans with reseller partners to maximize sales potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with reseller partners, vendors, and channel customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and engage with partners to drive incremental sales.
  • Support and drive activity around campaigns and projects to target specific go-to-market messaging.
  • Provide regular and accurate forecasting of opportunities to inform short- and long-term deal planning.
  • Maximize margin opportunity by focusing on partners and targets with high margin potential.
  • Work closely with vendors to develop and execute back-end rebate targets and focus areas.
  • Enable partners through regular sales training and technical training.
  • Gain a high-level profile and trust within the partner base to ensure Arrow is brought in on larger projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar position within software solutions sales in IT channel sales or end-user sales.
  • A full driving license and readiness to travel.
  • Dutch – native/fluent.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and develop strategic business relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach.
  • Effective communication with people at all levels.
  • Natural propensity to adopt a structured approach.
  • Ability to learn product benefits and solution sales concepts.
  • Problem-solving and capacity to follow through on a task to conclusion.
