Content Acquisition Lead for Samsung Benelux

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Acquisition Manager to join our team in Benelux. As a key member of our European Service Business Office (ESBO), you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new opportunities within the digital media industry.
Key Responsibilities- Content Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute a content acquisition strategy for Samsung TV Plus (STVP) Benelux, ensuring alignment with EU team goals.
- Negotiations and Partnerships: Lead negotiations with third-party FAST channels and AVOD partners in BENELUX, establishing commercial agreements to improve the company's market position.
- Contract Management: Collaborate with Samsung legal teams to communicate commercial terms and oversee License Agreement drafting, managing partner deal pipeline, including business terms, payment schedules, and obligations.
- Market Analysis and Business Development: Evaluate potential business deals and market strategies for equity investments, cultivating relationships with local content producers and broadcasters, fostering strategic partnerships.
- Marketing and Monetization Strategy: Develop content-driven marketing strategies with Samsung ESBO PM and local subsidiaries, collaborating with Samsung Ads team to optimize STVP BENELUX monetization.
- Regulatory Compliance and Representation: Stay updated on BENELUX regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance in content agreements, representing Samsung at BENELUX content tradeshows, enhancing brand visibility through industry engagements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster One Samsung approach with local subsidiaries to support STVP BENELUX growth initiatives, collaborating closely with service partnership, product management, and ad sales teams within ESBO.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience in Business Development/Content Acquisition for a data-driven ad-supported content provider and/or platform.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong relationships and network within the BENELUX media ecosystem and within the FAST and AVOD channel content provider community, experience in direct deal negotiations, relationship management, and partnership valuation, experience in contract negotiations and content licensing terms including revenue share and minimum guarantees.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills (both written and spoken), strong cross-functional leadership skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office products.
