About the Role
The Global Risk & Insurance Specialist is a newly created position responsible for developing and implementing a global risk management strategy that aligns with Fagron's business objectives. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the company's operations, reputation, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with insurance brokers and underwriters to negotiate and manage insurance programs that meet Fagron's risk management needs.
- Monitor and report on risk exposure and insurance coverage to ensure adequate protection against potential losses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide training and support to employees on risk management best practices and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure Fagron's risk management strategy remains effective and compliant.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business economics, law, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in risk management, insurance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English.
