About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Media Procurement Manager to join our team at Danone. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving effectiveness and efficiency in our media spend, ensuring we extract maximum value from our advertising and promotional investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement media procurement strategies to optimize our media spend and drive superior topline growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create synergies between media and marketing categories, focusing on areas such as media transparency, martech, agencies and partners management, and retail media.
  • Deploy and lead commercial relationships with digital/media/social/data sourcing solutions partners to drive innovation and efficiency in our media spend.
  • Capture supplier-led innovation from tech houses, media publishers, and media/social agencies to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving media landscape.
  • Forge strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand market pressures, transformation challenges, and opportunities, and accelerate growth across all divisions.
  • Develop new innovative sourcing strategies to identify opportunities based on business needs and ensure compliance with Danone's business principles, policies, and standards.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional media procurement experience, preferably in a global or regional marketing procurement role within a large matrix organization.
  • Strong media industry-specific experience, including media procurement combined with media marketing and/or media agency/media auditing.
  • Collaborative and well-versed in forging strong alliances to support business growth.
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills, with the ability to bring clarity and structure to complex issues.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a fact-based approach to decision-making.
  • Analytical mindset and high level of financial acumen.
  • Fluency in English, with French as an asset.
