About Us:

Motel One is a leading budget design hotel chain with over 90 hotels in 13 countries. We offer a unique combination of learning and working as part of our One Family.

We partner with the IU International University of Applied Sciences since 2014 to provide students with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management (3 years).

As a student, you will be part of an exclusive Motel One cohort with approximately 20 students and enjoy virtual live lectures by IU professors 2-3 times per week.

Your Duties:

  • You will work part-time (approximately 20-25 hours/week) at a Motel One hotel in selected European cities with appropriate compensation.
  • You will rotate through all departments of the hotel, including Front Office & Reservations, Service (breakfast & bar), Housekeeping, Sales & Administration.
  • After extensive training, you will be responsible for your own tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • You hold a university entrance qualification (A-levels / technical baccalaureate) or vocational training certificate with proof of three years of full-time professional experience.
  • You have strong English proficiency (either native speaker or language certificate).
  • You possess a high degree of flexibility, ability to work in a team, and resilience.
  • You exhibit a positive demeanour, commitment, and pleasure in contact with guests.
  • You have initial experience in the hotel industry or willingness to do a pre-study internship at Motel One.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €18,000 - €22,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
