Material Coordinator Shipbuilding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Coordinator to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a Material Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the logistical process of our shipbuilding operations.
Key Responsibilities- Control, correct and complete technical drawings;
- Monitor and manage logistical material planning for construction sites;
- Collect and analyze technical information for shipbuilding yards;
- Respond to questions from construction sites, project managers, central engineering, procurement, central warehouse, etc. on various matters (uncertainties, progress, expected delivery date, unexpected events, etc.).
- MBO education in Mechanical Engineering or Shipbuilding;
- Some knowledge of IFS and Excel is an asset;
- At least 3 years of experience working in a production environment;
- Experience with technical preparation, planning and logistics;
- Fluent English and Dutch, both spoken and written;
- You are an enthusiastic team player, with an eye for detail and a knack for setting priorities.
