About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Engineering E&A to join our team at Damen Workboats. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for the integration and testing of electrical and automation systems onboard our new build vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the project execution for E&A related engineering activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects, driving targeted results for schedule, quality, and costs.
  • Coordinate the flow of information from different stakeholders within the project.
  • Advise and align with other Engineering disciplines on system integration related engineering issues.
  • Examine requirements from class/flag states, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ensure full integration of systems within other engineering deliverables and/or disciplines.
  • Organize and participate in project integration reviews.
  • Coordinate reviews on documents, such as planning updates, progress reports, and production reports.
  • Participate in tests and trials, including HIL testing, FAT, HAT, and SAT.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or relevant technical study.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in design, integration, and installation of complex electrical and automation systems.
  • Experience in functional development of Control & Monitoring systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch.
  • Willingness to travel (short trips about 1 to 2 times a year).
