Het werk:
Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen van het Customs team (4-12 FTE) die alle dagelijkse douane- en compliance activiteiten binnen Nederland (locaties Waalwijk, Tilburg en Venray) beheert. Je zorgt ervoor dat de algehele naleving van EU (en nationale) wet- en regelgeving als beleid wordt uitgevoerd ten aanzien van onze klanten en binnen onze interne organisatie. Je genereert, bewaakt en controleert regelmatig de maandelijkse periodieke aangifte en andere douaneaangiften die bij de douane worden ingediend. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het handhaven van de vereisten met betrekking tot de Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) licentie en voert interne audits uit op de van toepassing zijnde douaneprocessen. Ook het opzetten en onderhouden van een kwaliteitssysteem voor interne en externe doeleinden.,
Eisen en wensen:
-Relevante opleiding (HBO-niveau) of gelijkwaardige werkervaring;
- 5+ jaar werkervaring in een toezichthoudende rol binnen een douaneomgeving;
- Kennis van nationale en EU Douane/Tax regelgeving/wetgeving;
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden op alle niveaus van management en operations;
- Kennis/ervaring in het werken met geautomatiseerde douanesystemen & MS Office;
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en het opbouwen van relaties in het Engels;
- Goede analytische vaardigheden en in staat om ideeën effectief te vertalen naar actie;
- In staat om te gaan met tijdsdruk en een dynamische omgeving.

Salaris:
