Job Overview

As a Pilot in Command for HHO operations, you will be responsible for executing flights to offshore installations, vessels, and wind turbines in the North Sea region. Your base will be either in Rotterdam or Ostend.

Responsibilities
  • Stay updated with applicable Belgian, Dutch, and International aviation regulations and practices.
  • Conduct operations in accordance with NHV's standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure the overall safety of the flight, including route planning, fuel assessments, navigation, and terrain monitoring.
  • Safeguard the well-being of passengers and cargo throughout the flight.
  • Exhibit exemplary conduct and personal discipline, representing NHV positively.
  • Manage rest periods effectively to maintain readiness for flight duties.
  • Demonstrate a service-oriented attitude and the ability to engage positively with passengers.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances with flexibility.
Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

  • EASA CPL(H) License
  • EASA Class 1 Medical Certification
  • EASA IFR (H)ME and IFR Night Rating
  • ATPL(H) Theory and MCC Certificate

Type Rating:

  • Preferably AS365 N3 or H145

Flight Experience:

  • Minimum of 2000 hours on rotary wing aircraft
  • At least 1000 hours as Pilot in Command
  • 500 hours on Multi-Engine helicopters

HHO Experience:

  • 200 hours of relevant HHO experience in helicopters
  • 200 hoist cycles offshore, including 50 at night

Location: Candidates should reside within a 4-hour drive from Rotterdam.

Skills

Language Proficiency:

  • English: Proficiency Level 4
  • Mandatory understanding of Dutch

Proficient in ICT, particularly in aviation software and administrative tools. Adherence to company procedures is essential. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player, focused on results and customer satisfaction.
