District Manager, Institutional
Ecolab is on the lookout for a District Manager to enhance our Institutional sector, which provides extensive chemical solutions tailored to the requirements of clients in the foodservice and hospitality sectors. Our clientele encompasses restaurants, hotels, educational institutions, long-term care facilities, and beyond. In this role, you will represent Ecolab, overseeing and guiding a team of Territory Managers who offer insights on advanced cleaning and sanitation methodologies that foster a positive guest experience while ensuring cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

Consistently meet the District budget. Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a team of Territory Managers to fulfill business and sales growth objectives. Ensure the team meets sales and service targets by adhering to key performance indicators and established protocols. Promote Retain, Grow, and Gain as a development strategy. Meet financial expectations by holding team members accountable for performance standards and enforcing minimum standards. Achieve designated sales, productivity, utilization, and profit targets. Expand and maintain market share through the management and delivery of exceptional customer service and sales initiatives. Engage in significant face-to-face interactions with Territory Managers and clients, fostering relationships and enhancing customer retention. Conduct fieldwork focusing on service excellence and sales competencies. Ensure compliance with Ecolab safety standards.This position will support the Dutch division in the Netherlands
Required Qualifications:
HBO, bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience. Proficiency in Dutch and English. Minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Experience in customer relationship development and management. Significant engagement with current and prospective clients in the Netherlands. Valid driver's license is required. Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a dynamic environment. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong coaching capabilities and a willingness to share knowledge. Demonstrated skills in selection, hiring, and team development. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
