System Service Engineer

The System Service Engineer is a key member of our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our laboratory instruments. As a skilled engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance, repairs, and other verification/qualification services on a variety of innovative instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned maintenance and repairs on laboratory instruments
  • Implement new product introductions and ensure seamless integration
  • Mentor and train colleagues to improve work efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes
  • Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic technical knowledge and electronics/mechanical skills
  • Affinity for mentoring and training others
  • Punctuality and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Aptitude for learning and understanding instruments, IT systems, and processes

Working Conditions:

May require lifting up to 25 kg and standing for long periods of time.
