**Job Summary**

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Service Engineer to join our team. As a System Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing in-house planned maintenance, repairs, and other verification/qualification services on a variety of innovative laboratory instruments in a life science environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform planned maintenance (PM) and repair services on laboratory instruments.
  • Implement new product introductions (NPIs) and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Mentor and train colleagues to improve work efficiency and productivity.
  • Display professionalism, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills in all interactions.
  • Follow all reporting responsibilities and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with management and stakeholders.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written in English.
  • Basic technical, electronics/mechanical knowledge.
  • Affinity with mentoring others and a positive influence on the team.
  • Punctuality and organizational skills.
  • Ability to self-direct and requires minimal oversight.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Proven record of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Aptitude for learning and understanding instruments, IT systems, and processes.

**Working Conditions:**

May be required to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
