About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Commercial Operations Specialist to join our team at Pfizer. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and expertise to our commercial organization in the Netherlands.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end administrative support to the commercial organization, including purchase order management and financial analysis.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in managing purchase orders and payments for the commercial organization.
  • Deliver insights and reports to business colleagues to support their budget planning and decision-making.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner, escalating problems as needed.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for internal and external meetings, including department meetings, Lunch & Learns, and One Pfizer meetings.
  • Responsible for placing communication on our local intranet and screens.
  • Support the streamlining of communication channels internally.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential correspondence appropriately.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.

About You

  • You are an autonomous and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You are flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs.
  • You have a strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • You have a proven track record of experience in administrative systems, including MS Office and SAP (Ariba Buy on Demand).
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have working business English language skills.
