European Business Development Manager

As a globally operating logistics service provider, we manage complex supply chains and offer our customers innovative value-added services. Our transport solutions guarantee that goods are in the right place at the right time.
The European Business Development Manager will have a crucial role, strengthening the overall market presence and market share of the division within the European region. Their main goals are to detect opportunities and acquire new business, maintain and retain assigned accounts, achieving the Company's strategic sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial prospecting across Europe by analysing market potential, identifying and developing strategies and opportunities.
- Identify and grow new business opportunities, while building strong and lasting relationships with new customers.
- Work closely with local, regional or global commercial resources to meet customer needs on 'Solution Selling'.
- Ensure strong customer engagement and communication in order to maintain loyalty and keep stakeholders updated on performance and potential risks.
- Provide regular review and analysis of commercial sales activities and associated targets.
Requirements
- You have gained experience in sales across Europe within a large international logistics organisation, consistently achieving and surpassing targets and objectives.
- You are results-driven, able to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders to identify and convert growth opportunities with both existing and new clients.
- You have high energy and are very committed to develop the business.
- You have strong knowledge of the transport market.
- An understanding of Warehousing and Logistics would be a plus.
