Job Title: Training Specialist
About the Role:
The Hong Kong University (HKU) is seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to join our team. As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training sessions and workshops across various disciplines within the Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery: Design and deliver engaging training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff and stakeholders.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted training programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training programs.
- Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in an academic or research setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese) language skills.
