Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales and Support Specialist to join our team at Hamilton. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales over the phone or through virtual meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify potential customers through cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead generation strategies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate prospects on the features and benefits of our products or services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the sales cycle.
  • Central point of contact for after sales, service and application requests.
  • Answer external requests from customers.
  • Take ownership of the local support desk tool.
  • Prepare quotations in D365 (ERP).
  • Follow up quotations (after) sales and service contracts.
  • Promote small instruments and devices, including demos.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Track record in Life Sciences.
  • Proven track record of success in inside sales or a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively articulate product features and benefits.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close sales.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Previous experience in the technology/software industry is a plus.
