About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Consultant Team Leader to join our team at Ramboll. As a key member of our Compliance, Strategy, and Transactions (CST) Department, you will be responsible for leading our team in providing expert environmental consulting services to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of environmental consultants in providing high-quality services to clients
  • Develop and implement strategies for compliance and permitting services
  • Pursue and realize opportunities with international clients or cross-geographical teams
  • Recognize core corporate permitting and compliance themes, identify key regulations/requirements, and prepare and maintain business plans
  • Act as key client manager and join global key client teams to foster opportunities in the Netherlands and internationally
  • Focus on quality of deliverables according to client expectations
  • Coach and mentor other staff, plan resources, and grow the team in the Netherlands
  • Participate in international Ramboll business development teams to further develop CST services

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in environmental consulting and team leadership. You should have a BSc or MSc education in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Land and Water Management, Physical Geography, or similar, and relevant work experience in consultancy at senior level (7-10 years). You should also have several years of experience as a team leader, a proven track record in client management, acquisition, and business development, and a thorough understanding of and experience with environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance processes in the Netherlands.
