Job Title: Field Applications Scientist

MaxCyte, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and support team, you will be responsible for providing technical and troubleshooting support to our customers in the Benelux and Nordic regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Territory Manager to support existing customers and promote MaxCyte technology to new customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, end-user training, and troubleshooting, both during the evaluation phase and post-sale.
  • Provide support for MaxCyte product lines and services by answering customer technical inquiries received via telephone, email, and/or web chat.
  • Troubleshoot the integration of MaxCyte technology into the customer workflow, developing and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • PhD or MS in bioengineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Recent hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture is essential.
  • At least 3 years' experience in gene editing, cellular therapy, and immunology, or in protein production and drug discovery process development.
  • Working knowledge in primary cell culture and genome-editing such as CRISPR/Cas9 is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in large-scale cell culture and/or high-throughput cell-based screening would be beneficial.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Robust trouble-shooting skills and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required.
