About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Competence Lead to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our IT security efforts and ensuring the security of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Security Competence Lead towards the IT delivery organization, providing guidance and expertise on security best practices and procedures.
- Orchestrate the implementation of corporate policies and standards, translating requirements into clear actionable standards, controls, and procedures for IT development and support teams.
- Monitor compliance with agreed IT solution delivery processes, validating the effectiveness of controls and ensuring that security is integrated into all aspects of our operations.
- Engage with second-line and third-line counterparts within the ASML organization, including Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit, to ensure that security is aligned with business objectives.
- Provide advice on security improvements and additional controls, and participate in security maturity improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience with a focus on IT applications/information security, risk, and compliance.
- Experience in executing IT security risk assessments on IT services and applications.
- Experience with Cloud security and 3rd party management.
- Good working knowledge of Office suite applications like Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Knowledge of current security technologies and governance processes.
- In-depth working knowledge of IT Risk/security frameworks and best practices.
- IT audit experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.
Personal Skills
- Able to operate independently/with minimal supervision, self-starter.
- Comfortable in starting up a number of projects at the same time, but also taking responsibility for finishing tasks.
- Ability to interact with all levels, including users, engineers, executives, and senior managers.
- Analytical, precise, tenacious, autonomous.
- Knowledge of IT-security, Information Security, and Architecture methodology.
- Ability to overcome organizational resistance.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments.
- Able to manage large amounts of new information quickly, grasp the deep technical characteristics of new environments, draft clear and concise visualizations of complex processes and environments, and stand your ground in a flexible/changing environment.
