Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to oversee quality control within our state-of-the-art warehousing and cold storage facility in the Netherlands.
The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a similar role within a warehousing and cold storage environment, strong knowledge of quality management systems, excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively across different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems compliant with industry regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify nonconformities and recommend improvements.
- Manage and track product recalls, complaints, and deviations.
- Collaborate with other department heads to drive continuous process improvements.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping related to quality activities.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on quality metrics to senior management.
Requirements:
- HBO/Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager in a warehousing and cold storage environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP principles.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and certifications such as BRCGS, IFS, or FSSC 22000 is desirable.
- Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001 or similar quality management system standard.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, providing clear direction and feedback.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Fluency in Dutch and English languages.
