Job Description
The Strategic Sales Leader will be responsible for building plans and programs that drive business growth through strategic partnerships and channel development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Represent Supermicro's portfolio of products and services to large enterprise customers, establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Develop a deep understanding of client industries, business strategies, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leaders, shaping deals early in the sales cycle and advancing opportunities that drive revenue growth.
- Demonstrate expertise in aligning Supermicro capabilities with client business priorities and positioning relative to competitors.
- Build and execute Account Business Plans (ABPs), including transactional and strategic initiatives to grow Supermicro's presence and share in targeted accounts.
- Drive ABP results through effective account management and regular reviews.
- Cultivate new solution opportunities that result in substantial growth in Supermicro's share, revenues, and margin.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets by utilizing margin management techniques.
- Negotiate and close large deals of moderate to high complexity and cross-GBU scope.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a high-tech industry.
- Minimum 3-7 years of direct sales experience selling servers and storage to enterprise and Fortune 1000 companies.
- Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
- A track record of building relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Proven ability in areas such as pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, objection handling, call structure, and control.
- Experience tracking and reporting lead activity and meeting sales targets.
- Microsoft Excel knowledge and proficiency in English, with additional languages a plus.
Salary Range
This position offers a competitive salary range, commensurate with experience. Estimated compensation for this role in the Netherlands is approximately €120,000 - €180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and performance.
