Time: 32 - 40 hours/week

This is a non-thesis internship.

Your role:


• Gain insights into the financial activities related to customers and vendors within a global organization, exploring a comprehensive range of financing solutions and products offered by international banks.


• Contribute to the Philips Capital team, which plays a vital role in the growth of Philips by providing innovative customer financing solutions.


• Support the evaluation of customer credit across various markets.


• Assist in the development of a database and reporting system to monitor diverse exposures, equity stakes, and interest rates. Maintain the Risk & Portfolio Management Database, which includes credit approvals and investment committee approvals.


• Engage in financial and credit research, prepare professional presentations, training materials, and address various ad hoc topics as needed.

You're the right fit if:

1. You are pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Business Economics, or Economics.

2. You possess strong communication skills and thrive in collaborative, dynamic environments. Proficiency in English is essential.

3. You have a keen interest in Corporate Finance and Financial Markets.

4. Previous internship experience is advantageous.

Additionally, we provide a competitive internship package:

Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and relocation needs. For part-time internships, the allowance will be pro-rata. Housing compensation for those relocating near the office, €300,- net for locations close to Amsterdam, €255,- net for other Philips locations, subject to certain conditions. Travel compensation for those not eligible for a free public transport card, up to €192,- net. Paid holidays during the internship term. The opportunity to purchase Philips equipment at our Philips shop.

IMPORTANT:

Part of our selection procedure includes a HireVue online interview recording. The outcome of this interview will not be shared, but it will be used as an additional selection criterion.

To be considered, you must be registered as a student throughout the internship period. Formal documentation will be required. Please note that our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with prior work experience.
