This is a non-thesis internship.
Your Responsibilities:
• Gain an understanding of the customer and vendor financing operations of a global corporation and explore the variety of financing solutions available.
• Collaborate with the Philips Capital team to enhance Philips' growth through the provision of customer financing options.
• Support the assessment of customer credit across various markets.
• Assist in the development of a comprehensive database and reporting system to monitor different financial exposures, equity interests, and interest rates. Maintain the Risk & Portfolio Management database, including credit approvals and investment metrics.
• Engage in financial and credit research, and prepare professional presentations and training materials on various topics as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Business Economics, or Economics.
2. Strong communication skills and a preference for teamwork in a dynamic setting. Proficiency in English is required.
3. Interest in Corporate Finance and Financial Markets.
4. Previous internship experience is advantageous.

Additionally, we provide a competitive internship package:
Monthly full-time allowance ranging from €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and relocation needs. Part-time interns will receive a pro-rata allowance. Housing compensation for those relocating near the office, €300,- net for locations close to Amsterdam, €255,- net for other Philips locations, contingent on providing a rental contract and meeting travel distance criteria. Travel compensation for those not eligible for a free public transport card, up to €192,- net. Paid holidays during the internship term. The chance to purchase Philips products at a discounted rate.IMPORTANT:
The selection process includes a HireVue online interview recording. The outcome of this interview will not be disclosed but will be used as an additional selection criterion.
To be eligible, candidates must be registered as students throughout the internship period. Formal documentation will be required. Please note that our internship assignments are not suitable for professionals or MBA students with prior work experience.
