Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to support our Knowledge Management efforts. You will be part of the Business Control Office team, an independent unit within Global HR. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience alongside our HR experts, focusing on various HR functions. Your contributions will be vital in advancing Knowledge Management across ING's HR landscape, both globally and locally. Your tasks will include:

  • Assessing the current knowledge framework within HR to identify gaps and areas for enhancement.
  • Developing standardized templates for HR procedures to promote consistency and efficiency.
  • Assisting in the creation of test scenarios based on functional specifications, aiding in process improvements.
  • Contributing to the development of a Knowledge Management dashboard utilizing Power BI.
  • Supporting various meetings, project coordination activities, and reporting tasks.

How to Succeed

To excel in this rewarding role, you should possess:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (third-year bachelor) with a keen interest in Human Resources, Process Improvement, Knowledge Management, or Non-financial Risk.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • A passion for learning and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic environment.
