Job Summary
We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our global transportation operations. As Director of Logistics Operations, you'll be responsible for executing strategic and tactical plans to ensure seamless transportation of goods worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global transportation strategies to optimize carrier selection, rate negotiations, and contracting.
- Manage performance metrics, freight bill audits, and provider compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create flexible transportation capabilities that meet internal and external customer needs.
- Drive cost containment through provider rationalization, utilization, mode, and service level optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in global transportation, covering major modes, warehouse shipping/receiving, and technology implementation.
- Supervisory or management experience with teams of 50+ and P&L ownership.
- Ability to develop business strategies and create buy-in with all levels of the organization.
