Job Description

As a Senior Banking Specialist at Booking.com, you will play a crucial role in managing our global banking capabilities, driving business growth, and delivering innovative banking solutions. You will be responsible for identifying and deploying suitable cash collection products, working with payment providers to design new solutions, and creating ROI business cases to implement internally diverse products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evolve the company's global banking capabilities by identifying and deploying suitable cash collection products.
  • Present business cases to banking regulators in different countries to obtain permits and approvals required to enable payment solutions.
  • Work with payment providers to design new solutions and create ROI business cases to implement internally diverse products.
  • Effectively deal with all BAU banking issues and queries, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
  • Create and maintain core-banking relationships, balancing optimal financial value with service delivery.
  • Identify and implement best market practices and solutions for both partners and customers.
  • Ensure all products and processes are compliant with all applicable rules and regulations, and that our tax policy is followed.
  • Identify areas of improvement and influence stakeholders in the implementation of new processes or modification of current processes.
Key Skills:
  • Mastery in banking products and cash management solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of finance technology and infrastructure, and in-country regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic, self-directed, and resourceful, with a solution-oriented and result-driven approach.
  • Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently as well as working in a team.
  • Systems: SAP and Excel.
  • Fluent in English to a good level of proficiency, with the ability to conduct and conclude highly technical discussions and agreements.
