About the Role

The BeLux Sales Team at Robeco is a high-performing team responsible for wholesale and institutional clients in Belgium and Luxemburg. We are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Sales Manager Wholesale to join our team in Rotterdam.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the current wholesale and institutional business in Belgium and Luxemburg, building a strong network of business relationships.
  • Co-organize and represent Robeco at local events, presenting and addressing client questions.
  • Analyze and address client needs, servicing existing clients and prospecting new ones, including Private Banks, Asset Managers, and Insurance companies.
  • Differentiate Robeco's product offering from competitors and the market.
  • Have a good understanding of financial markets, institutions, and strategies, leveraging key specialists and cooperating with the team.
  • Help source, assess, and develop new opportunities.
  • Demonstrate dedication to the company and colleagues, driving individual and team KPIs and contributing to delivering the team's annual sales targets.
  • Cooperate across departments with Investment Specialists, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Client Servicing, and Legal & Compliance.

About You

  • You are a strong and passionate personality, enjoying working in a highly energetic and committed team.
  • Preferably, you have at least 5 years of experience in sales, client portfolio management, or a relevant client service-oriented department within the financial industry.
  • You have experience or a strong interest in sustainability investing.
  • You are highly engaged, proactive, goal-oriented, and structured, with the ability to work independently.
  • You are willing to travel several days a week to meet with clients and prospects.
  • You are a strong presenter and communicator.
  • You are a collaborative team player.
  • You are a native Dutch speaker, with full professional proficiency in English.
  • Your ability to present in French is considered a strong plus.
  • Having a VBA or CFA designation or interest in following one of these educations and acquiring one of the designations is considered a plus.
