About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our Global Communications & Public Affairs team at Google. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us communicate with journalists, thought leaders, and other stakeholders across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national media outlets, including trade and business publications, to secure coverage of our products, policies, and services.
  • Communication Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote our brand, products, and services, including Ads and Business-to-Business.
  • Spokesperson and Profile Management: Act as a spokesperson for local and global executives, preparing them for media engagements, speaking opportunities, and other high-profile events.
  • Content Development: Create engaging content for various audiences and channels, including speeches, op-eds, social media posts, and more.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in PR, communications, and media relations, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in French.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
