Role and Responsibilities
The Business Continuity and Risk Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and availability of our corporate real estate assets. This includes managing the portfolio of risks associated with these assets, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks, and overseeing the execution of risk management activities. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of relevant strategies, standards, and policies, and work closely with the Centre of Excellence's Asset Management team and the EHS team to align on ASML CRE Global Risk Management.
Your Tasks
- Develop and implement strategies to manage reliability and risk in corporate real estate assets.
- Manage the risk management process, execute risk assessments, define mitigation plans, and define business continuity plans.
- Work with maintenance suppliers and the supply chain to identify risks and define necessary actions.
- Sparring partner for reliability engineers and supply chain.
- Adopt risk and compliance policies.
- Initiate, coordinate, and/or execute risk and reliability assessments and business impact assessments.
- Generate, maintain, and communicate business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Validate and/or conduct reviews of project designs and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, e.g. process engineering or (industrial) risk & reliability engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant working experience in a design, engineering, maintenance, asset, or risk management function.
- Proven track record in safety and/or reliability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strongly results-orientated with a corresponding sense of responsibility; directs work and ensures accountability.
- Social skills; emphatic, listening, enthusing, creating room for innovation/creativity, coaching & collaborating.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, dealing with senior and medior management levels, peers, teams, service providers, contractors, and consultants.
- Fluent in spoken and written business English.
