We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Engineering E&A to join our team at Damen Workboats. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for the integration and testing of electrical and automation systems onboard our new build vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the project execution for E&A related engineering activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, driving targeted results for schedule, quality, and costs.
- Coordinate the flow of information from different stakeholders within the project, across departments and locations.
- Advise and align with other Engineering disciplines on system integration related engineering issues.
- Examine requirements from class/flag states, suppliers, and clients, ensuring full integration of systems within other engineering deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC rules and physical/data interfaces related to suppliers.
- Organize and participate in project integration reviews, coordinating reviews on documents and participating in tests and trials.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or relevant technical study.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in design, integration, and installation of complex electrical and automation systems.
- Experience in functional development of Control & Monitoring systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch.
- Willingness to travel for short trips.
