About the Role
Motion Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. We are expanding our product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management. To support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking for an EHS Facility Manager located in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide internal consulting services on ergonomics, hazardous substances, industrial hygiene, and fire and chemical safety.
- Collaborate with departments to design and use equipment, fire prevention, and safety programs.
- Inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards.
- Manage facility maintenance, cleaning, and small construction projects.
- Improve efficiency by analyzing and standardizing facility procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance and cleaning personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HSE or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE laws and regulations.
- Experience in initiating and implementing HSE policies and guidelines.
- Technical production experience, preferably in the metal industry.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability.
- Service-oriented and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Dutch driver's license and willingness to travel between locations.
