We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at ABN Amro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and experience working in the financial services industry.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is €85,000 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek and including benefits such as vacation pay and a personal development budget.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Risk Management Specialist to take on a key role in our organization. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks across various business units and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate risk assessments and enhance risk control measuresProvide expert opinions and recommendations to management on non-financial risk management issuesPrepare and present detailed risk reports with trend analyses and aligned risk opinionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to drive security awareness and compliance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Post-HBO or Post-Master's degree in Risk Management or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as PRM, CRMP, CRISC, CIA, or CRMA
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and relevant regulations
  • At least 5 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven ability to assess control effectiveness and analyze complex issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Good understanding of English and Dutch, both spoken and written
