About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our Procurement & Engineering Organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that support the IGT Systems organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the IGT Systems organization's objectives and Philips' enterprise supplier and category strategy.
  • Lead and manage all procurement activities for the global IGT Systems organization, including sourcing decisions and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sourcing decisions and supplier performance from early product development to mass production.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure successful completion of New Product Introduction (NPI) Phase Gates.
  • Manage cost, quality, and risk, with a strong focus on patient safety and product quality.
  • Responsible for talent management of the procurement function.
Requirements
  • Master's in business administration and relevant training in SPM and Supply Chain preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related Stakeholder function.
  • Cultural sensitiveness, able to do global business across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
  • Strategic thinker with a 'can do' attitude. Result driven, with a proven track record.
  • Understanding of suppliers, business models, key drivers, measures, priorities, and make or buy decisions.
  • Expertise in Design for Excellence and Value Engineering.
  • Team player with excellent analytic and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders both externally and internally is key.
