Job Summary

Hexion is seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to support and carry out maintenance activities for our production site in Pernis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily work packages together with contractors and Hexion personnel, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the technical assistant to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and financial guidelines.
  • Supervise HOM employees and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement improvements to installations and systems, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • MBO BOL 3 or 4 (electrical engineering or installation engineering) with additional training and education.
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch language (speaking and reading).
  • Familiarity with legal electrical standards and norms.
  • Familiarity with legal ATEX standards and norms.
  • Understanding and insight into technical and financial requirements related to MOC procedures, and associated laws and regulations.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Persuasive and effective communicator.
  • Strong personality and ability to work independently.
  • High level of sensitivity and judgment.
  • At least 5 years of work experience with Electrical & Instrumentation installations in the (petro) chemical industry.
