Key Responsibilities

  • Design and propose technical solutions, architectures, and designs for key project initiatives in the Oracle & Enterprise Apps tower.
  • Provide technical leadership to delivery teams and serve as a trusted partner for the business.
  • Establish architecture principles, standards, and guardrails for all software solutions emerging from the Tower.
  • Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from business teams and guide them on appropriate tradeoffs among different implementation choices.
  • Guide decisions on build vs. buy vs. reuse, potentially leveraging low-code solutions.
  • Present key architecture, technical, and design decisions to the Architecture Review Board and build consensus with other solution architects.
  • Ensure ongoing governance over the solution architecture, ensuring it remains fit for purpose, can be operated at low cost, and can easily accommodate change over time.
  • Support and complete internal audits, enabling teams to prioritize and address findings and observations.
  • Mentor and guide team leads and other team members.
  • Contribute to hiring initiatives within the Technology office.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in developing and sustaining enterprise applications in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript).
  • Expert understanding of Agile software delivery, design patterns, architecture styles, and domain-driven design.
  • Experience in building robust, scalable, cloud-native solutions using Oracle and Azure public clouds that integrate with core enterprise systems and third-party systems.
  • Experience in digitalizing and automating core business processes to improve efficiency, elevate the end-user experience, and lower turnaround times.
  • Experience in providing business insights and serving analytical needs of downstream consumers within the organization.
  • Experience in advocating design principles, explaining tradeoffs between implementation approaches, and articulating implications behind key technology choices and architecture decisions.
  • Familiarity with the technology landscape: Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, Azure, Terraform, Power Apps, Python, C#, JavaScript.
  • Experience in fulfilling operational requirements of applications, such as scalability, resilience, observability, health monitoring, ease of troubleshooting, compliance, etc.
  • Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
