About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Compensation Specialist to join our team at Booking. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our compensation practices are efficient, effective, and aligned with our business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve day-to-day compensation-related queries in a timely and professional manner
- Serve as the first point of escalation for employee and HRA compensation-related issues
- Support our annual salary review process to ensure fair and equitable compensation practices
- Test and improve compensation-related processes in Workday to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Support various Compensation and Benefits (C&B) initiatives, including research, implementation, and communication
- Participate in salary surveys as needed to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Prepare reports for management members to inform strategic decisions
- Administer employee compensation, including processing calculations and eligibility, updating global presentations, and interacting with regional teams
- Engage in process improvement and simplification to drive efficient compensation practices
- Update and maintain Rewards content on the Employee Service Center
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years related human resources or employee compensation experience or equivalent work experience
- Experience with reporting and processing sensitive/confidential employee information
- Able to work in a team and independently, with strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Google Suite/Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
- General knowledge of Workday or other HRIS systems
- Able to juggle priorities with ease and make informed trade-offs when needed
Compensation Package:
The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
