About the Role
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic international team in Amsterdam. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for installing PCs and software applications, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining basic repair activities on PCs. You will also be required to install, support, and provide routine maintenance to hardware and software, register and follow up on IT service tickets, and update local IT assets into the database. Additionally, you will assist in massive software upgrades and installations of patches on PCs/servers, keep IT Engineers and support desk colleagues informed about progress of tasks, and monitor frequently appearing incidents and look for proper solutions.

Responsibilities
- Install PCs and all required software applications + administration
- Troubleshoot problems and maintain basic repair activities on PCs;
- Install, support, and provide routine maintenance to hardware and software;
- Register and follow up of IT service tickets;
- Regular updating local IT assets into the database and generating simple reports and overviews for global purpose;
- Assist in massive software upgrades and installations of patches on PCs/servers;
- Keep IT Engineers and support desk colleagues informed about progress of tasks;
- Physical Asset management (PCs, Monitors, Keyboards, Cables, Equipment and accessories);
- Monitor frequently appearing incidents and look for proper solutions;

Education and Related Experience
- IT-related education;
- Enrolled as a student at a European school/university;
- Preference for a student who lives in the Netherlands;
- Available from October 2022 for 3-6 months;
- Passion for IT & technology;
- Professional attitude, communicative (verbal & written);
- Ability to perform well in a team;
- Fluent in English;

Estimated Salary: €25,000 - €35,000 per year
