Logistics Coordination at Full Potential

As a Workforce Coordinator at GXO Logistics, Inc., you play a crucial role in the company's operational planning process. You serve as the connecting link between employment agencies and the operation, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient resource utilization.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will take care of day, week, and long-term workforce planning based on customer forecasts and internal departmental figures.
  • In the event of schedule deviations, such as no-shows or absenteeism, you will immediately contact employment agencies and make necessary adjustments.
  • You will determine the intake requirement (maintenance pool) and development/training needs of Flex workers.
  • You will report directly to the Operations and Workforce Managers, working independently while collaborating closely with various departments within the organization.

Key Performance Indicators

  • You will have daily operational meetings with employment agencies, warehouse managers, and the operational manager to agree on planning and keep current figures up-to-date.
  • You will manage and monitor KPIs determined with employment agencies.
  • You will supervise and steer productivity through meetings and input from the floor.
  • You will maintain an overview of all competencies per person (competency metrics in Excel).
  • You will deliver a weekly overview of all figures and hours in Excel to the employment agencies.
  • You will work closely with the Warehouse Managers to determine the takeover of temporary employees based on hours worked and performance.
  • You will follow through on SLAs and carry out quarterly audits, reporting the results to the Workforce Manager.

Requirements for Success

  • You will have a very accurate and analytical working method, be communicative, and proactive.
  • You will be able to deal with dynamics well and quickly communicate with involved parties.
  • You will have an HBO work and thinking level.
  • You will have a good command of Excel.
  • You will be alert, accurate, stress-resistant, flexible, and possess great problem-solving skills.
  • You will have a healthy dose of energy and humor.
  • You will have a command of the English language (Dutch is also required).
  • Preferably, you will be aware of laws and regulations regarding the planning of FTE (Working Hours Act).
  • Preferably, you will have knowledge of the WAB (Law on the Balanced Labor Market) and knowledge of collective bargaining agreements for temporary workers.
