Job Title: Accounts Payable Cluster Lead

At Fugro, we are seeking a skilled Cluster Lead to join our Accounts Payable team within the Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC).

About the Role:
This is a key leadership position responsible for driving and motivating the team and managing change. We are looking for a strong people manager who can find a balance between supervising a team, supporting the day-to-day business, and identifying and implementing process improvements.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for the overall AP process for multiple entities.
  • You will deliver periodic AP reporting and assist with month-end closing and other tasks when necessary.
  • You will provide support to AP Accountants/Assistants and serve as the main point of contact for external suppliers and Fugro entities on AP-related questions.
  • You will take care of first-level review of vendor master data, follow up on escalations, and open items.
  • You will continuously look for improvements in the AP process and management of AP.
  • You will report to the AP Team Lead.

Your Qualifications:
  • You have a BSc degree in a financial discipline or certificate in Accounting.
  • You have 5+ years of relevant working experience.
  • You have excellent knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • You have previous experience in leading, motivating, coaching, and developing a team, taking into account team performance, skill development, and meeting stringent deadlines.
  • You have excellent communication skills at all organisational levels and an excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
  • You are service and results-oriented and are in possession of a continuous process improvement mindset.
