IT Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth operational IT ordering, including quotations, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, reception, and invoice checks for IT devices for new personnel and BeNe sites.
  • Support the IT Director and management team in creating and maintaining documents and statements related to overall IT operations, including organization, communications, projects, planning, and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Business Controller IT on administrative and financial work related to projects and general IT operations.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by being approachable, knowing the team, and ensuring everyone can perform their job effectively and enjoyably.

Role Results

  • New employees receive laptops, monitors, docking stations, mobile phones, and other necessary equipment.
  • Sites obtain printers, workstations, scanners, and other IT hardware as needed.
  • Responsible for issuing orders and managing inventory of available IT hardware.
  • Order IT hardware within projects and ensure pre-work for Finance to guarantee accurate and timely invoices.
  • Act as an office assistant, ordering office supplies, and serving as a source of information for new IT employees, organizing IT events, and more.

Requirements

  • HBO or MBO+ work and thinking level, preferably complemented by several years of experience as a PA, Office Manager/Support, or similar.
  • Expertise in preparing and maintaining records, being a good organizer, and accurate.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to take initiative and think ahead.
  • Good conceptual and visual skills, with the ability to work independently.
